Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) February Executive Board Meeting was held on 16 February 2022 by video conference method.
The meeting, chaired by TDBB and Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, was attended by TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak, TDBB Executive Board members, Mayor of Bağcılar Lokman Çağırıcı, Mayor of Başiskele Mehmet Yasin Özlü, Mayor of Şahinbey Mehmet Tahmazoğlu and Mayor of Zeytinburnu Ömer Arısoy.
The meeting continued with TDBB Secretary General Fahri Solak giving information about the work carried out since the Administrative Board Meeting on 19 January 2022 and the agenda, and discussion of the agenda items.
Within this framework, it was decided to organize a technical inspection program for Bosnia and Herzegovina Gracanica in order to conduct an investigation on “Waste Collection and Storage” in 2022 by a technical committee to be formed in cooperation with TDBB and Başiskele (Kocaeli) Municipality, to give support by TDBB to “10th International Altai Communities Symposium” that will take place between 27 and 30 September 2022 in Uzbekistan, to realize the “Renovation of the House Demolished by the Occupation Project” requested by the Hebron (Palestine) Municipality in cooperation with TDBB and Konya Metropolitan Municipality, to realize the “Project for Buying Workwear and Shoes for the Employees of the Parks and Gardens Directorate” requested by the Municipality of Gostivar (North Macedonia) in cooperation with TDBB and Bayrampaşa (Istanbul) Municipality, to give support by TDBB and to attend on behalf of TDBB to “512th Ajvatovica Festival” to be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2022 and to submit the membership application made by Yıldırım (Bursa) Municipality to our Union to the Administrative Board with a favorable opinion.
