The vehicle, which was supplied to the Praça health center in Pale, Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) and Konya Metropolitan Municipality, in order to provide better health services to the people in the rural areas, was delivered with a ceremony held on 31 August 2023.
The delivery ceremony was attended by TDBB President and Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, Pale Mayor Almin Çutuk, Pale Municipality Council President Senad Mutapçiç, TDBB Board Members Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Ahmet Pekyatırmacı and Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, Konya Deputy Mehmet Baykan, Praça Health Center Director Medo Žigovic attended.
Pale Mayor Almin Çutuk, in his speech at the ceremony, said that Pale Municipality did not have the opportunity to receive financial aid, therefore they requested help from TDBB and these demands were met. Çutuk said, “As the pale land is rough and the roads are generally unpaved, we could not intervene in time to our citizens who were sick. With this vehicle, we will better serve the elderly population, especially those who live in hilly areas and often need emergency medical care. I would like to thank TDBB and Konya Metropolitan Municipality for helping us buy this vehicle, which is of great importance for us.”
